Chanel Haute Couture

Karl Lagerfeld premiered his new collection of couture pieces at Paris Fashion Week, on January 27.
I loved the whole collection, specially Mr. Lagerfeld attention to little details, it was romantic, classy and contemporary- very Chanel.
I also loved those paper headdresses made by Katsuya Kamo.

Hits and Misses of the SAG Awards.

Ahhh one of my favorite times of the year, Awards season, why you may ask? Well i just love seeing what the A-listers will end up wearing. Today i bring you some of the hits and misses of the SAG Awards red carpet.

Eva Longoria- Miss: She went for a peach coloured Jenny Packham dress, from the Spring Summer 2009 collection. The dress itself has got a nice flow but those ruffles in the waste line look awkward. As for the colour, well i think it works with Eva's tan but i wish she had chosen another colour for her, it looks too washed out.

Nicolette Sheridan- Miss: Wrong in so many ways, from the shape to the colour to the pattern on the fabric. It looks as if she took a bed sheet and used i as a dress. Worst dressed of the night.

Kate Winslet- Hit: Defenitely the winner of the night. She chose to wear a fishtail Narciso Rodriguez gown, and did she choose well. The colour is gorgeous and complements her nice skin tone, plus the shape shows her amazing figure really nicely.

Teri Hatcher- Hit: She was one of the risk takers of the night and it payed off. I myself am not a big fan of Hatcher, but her Haute Couture Monique Lhuillier gown is gorgeous. Oh and would someone please feed Teri?!

America Ferrera- Not so sure: In a Vera Wang gown. Love the dress, hate the colour. I also wish she would have done her makeup differently.

Christina Applegate- Hit: looks beautiful in her Ungaro gown. The green colour is lovely as so are her accesories, though i wished she would have chosen a more figure flattering dress.

Amy Adams- Hit: One of the best dressed of the night. She chose a Jean Bastis Tevalli burgundy gown. Just one word to describe her outfit and that's GORGEOUS!

Angelina Jolie- Not so sure: In a Max Azria dress. Why did they let her out wearing that. It looks like a tent and it's boring, nonetheless Angelina still looked gorgeous.

Evan Rachel Wood- Hit: She looked stunning and i love that Monique Lhuillie dress on her. Did she change her stylist, cause lately she's been looking fabulous!

Emily Blunt- Not so sure: I'm having mixed emotions about her Pamela Roland number. She took a risk and she looks lovely but there's something of that dress that bothers me, although Emily's one of the very few people out there that can pull of this look.

Penelope Cruz- Hit: I'm not a big fan of a full velvet dress, but Penelope wears this Alaia halter gown flawlessly. Loved her whole look.

Anne Hathaway- Hit: Looks like a Greek Godess in her Azzaro gown. I love how she's always dressed right for the ocassion. White's a difficult colour to pull off, specially if your as pale as Anne, but oh my did she look gorgeous.

Tina Fey- Miss: That Brian Reyes dress is nice....if you're going to homecoming. It just wasnt dressy enough. Although i do love how she was faithful to her style and didn't over accesorize.

Bride Wars

Every girl dreams about her wedding, am I wrong? I doubt it.
But what would happen if your wedding and your best friend's were in the same place, the same day?
We can see Anne Hathaway (Emma) and Kate Hudson (Liv) in this romantic comedy directed by Gary Winick. They never dissapoint me, and hopefully, this time won't be the exception!

Here are some of the movie pictures!

Oops!!

We just wanted to apologize for a test we posted a few hours ago.
We found that somewhere in the net, and thought it'd be kind of funny. We know it is not very accurate and juvenile, and once again, we apologize.
We're so sorry, but we'll keep posting good things in the future and hope you like our blog.
Oops!!

Sincerely, Milly & Lilly

Model Of the Week: Lisa Cant

Lisa Cant (born 1985 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) is a fashion model. Known for her doll-like features, Lisa is often compared with Heather Marks, Gemma Ward, Lily Cole, Jessica Stam, and Devon Aoki To fans and critics this group is known as the "baby dolls", "aliens", or "alien baby dolls".

Lisa Cant is the girl that everyone wants in their fashion shows, advertising campaings, and covers. She is Juicy Couture, Van Cleef & Arpels and Carolina Herrera CH perfume's girl.

She loves the music, practice yoga and is an excelent surfer. Because of that, plus her easy-going personality and stunning features we absolutely love her.

Movie of the week: Marie Antoinette.

"Let them eat cake!" This is a motion picture detailing the life of Marie Antoinette after her betrothal to Louis XVI. From shoes to scandals, this movie outlines Marie Antoinette's nature, and her dedication to a life of fabulousness and outrageousness. We hear her utter those immortal words that caused such an outrage amongst the peasants of France, but we soon learn that it was a lie, as was much of her life.

Personaly this is one of my favorite movies, i just love the way Sofia Coppola directed this and the dresses and shoes are just amazing!!
